Horn Concerto No. 3 in E flat K.447
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Andreas Schenck · Horn and piano
Mozart wrote his four horn concertos for his friend and horn player Josef Leutgeb. They are still part of the standard repertoire of horn players. Although the modern valve horn did not yet exist, Mozart knew how to lend the solo part a high degree of melodiousness.
