Eskizler

Turkish composer Büsra Kayikçi presents Eskizler (meaning “sketches”), a collection of thirteen intimate pieces for solo piano, featuring music from her debut album of the same name alongside additional compositions. Written in a refined neoclassical style, the music is complemented by full-colour spreads of the composer’s own visual artwork and handwritten notes.

Informed by her practice as an interior architect and interdisciplinary artist, Eskizler invites performers into an evocative soundworld where sound, space, and image converge. Elegantly written to sit comfortably under the hands, this bilingual Turkish–English edition is ideal for intermediate pianists.
